The Process
1.Contact me
Fill out the contact form and send it on it's way! I will be in touch within a few hours.
2.Questionare and Payment
Once we connect and have you on the books, you will pay your session fee. Session fee must be paid at time of booking. Then you will fill out the questionnaire to let me know all your needs for your session.
3.Planning and Session
Once your questionnaire is complete, I will follow up and finalize all the details. Then it's session day! Time to relax and have a little fun!
4.Galleries and Prints
It will take a week or two, depending on the season, to get your gallery to you. You will choose all your favorite images and make final decisions, and order in the on- line store. Then all you have to do is sit back and wait for your beautiful images to be delivered!
FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
That will depend on the package you choose.
What’s the best time to have a session?
This depends on the time of year. I do always try to work around your schedule. I usually like to do my sessions in the evenings because it's the best light! I do not do any sessions mid day in the summer time. The sun is just too bright and is not good for making pretty pictures.
How should we dress for our family session?
This is such a common question. First and foremost, make sure you're comfortable in whatever you choose! Yes, you want to look nice, clean and well coordinated, but if no one's comfy, then they will not be happy. Pinterest is always a great place to find beautiful color palettes. Here are a few examples of color combinations you could put together. Keep in mind, using different shades of any of these colors looks great.
-blue and cream
-blue and grey
-light pink, blues and white
-or combining all of the above looks great also!
If your family photos are seasonal, say in the Fall...
-browns/tans/blues
-salmon/cream/dark blues
-light green and cream
Any Fall color combination looks greats.
Christmas...
-deep reds, greens, cream, white or black are always a good choice.
**If I could give you any advice, it would be to make sure, for the most part, your clothes are wrinkle free. I know we hate to iron, but they really stand out in the pictures and does not look good.
